Will also be adding in a downflow type algae scrubber from taobao maybe end of the year when i go to china( hand carrying them back to sg HAHA) Will update you guys when i get it

My current filtration methods: 450ml of reef octopus biopellets in a fr-30 enducter 10ml of lanathum chloride daily( split into 2 doses one in the morning and one in the evening using my dosing pump) 200 micron filter socks (anyone knows of where to get the 5-10 micron types) Bubble magus curve 7 skimmer( would like to get an upgrade soon since im doing lanathum chloride)

Updates: Added 2 rw15 wavemakers 1 jebao dosing pump And a few spses Changed the sunsun pump to a hailea pump I did manage to get my refractometer in the end but the im not really sure of how to properly calibrate it to give me accurate readings . The brand is RHS-10atc , some advices from you guys would really help haha

Need to be at a certain temperature for calibration?

Hi guys do yall know how to calibrate a refractometer ? I bought one from a fellow reefer , think its the RHS from madpetz . However it gives me a reading of 1.030 sg so just wondering if its because of the refractometer . Ive read several threads online but ita getting abit confusing because temperature also plays a part here. Do i need to ensure that the temperature is at a certain point even though it is auto temperature compensated?
