  1. Interested to hear as well. Filter sock I heard will become ineffective over time as the force of the water will cause particles to break through over time
  2. Wow, where can we buy this retail?
  3. Shorten piece of info. Not moving any of my rocks anymore
  4. Here's a quick update. Trying to build a Zoa garden/Rock. Thanks to bro dinGdinG and kingfish for the frags!
  5. How about clownfish and firefish? And shrimps?
  6. Yup i will wait a year or until the tank is a lot more mature
  7. I've started to see some tiny dots moving and darting around on all four glass panels - think they must be pods. Just wondering what they eat and how I can sustain their population. I tried googling and people say phytoplankton/detritus/algae? Any truth to them eating algae like diatoms/green algae? I don't have a fuge, but I'm hoping they can multiply in my bacteria king area in the sump. Cheers all
  8. One downside is their user interface uses android and being an iPhone user, it took me a while to get used to. They have a lot of pre programmed lighting schedules in their app
  9. So far so good, though as you know I don't really have much livestock to track growth yet. Their website is not as savvy as that of other lights like aqualumination, but apparently they are being used by commercial coral farms to grow. From my research, they offer very high par value per watt, one of the highest in the mkt and they claim to have the right spectrum for good colours and growth and their led bulbs are "specially made" for that purpose.. Not sure how true, could be all made in China in reality, haha. Will update over time
  10. Bro, thanks for the zoas and the frags!
  11. Nothing better to do on a Sunday evening... So, a water test just for the kicks.
  12. Yup, I engaged him to set up my tank. Very well done indeed!
  13. Big thanks to Henry for making this a reality!
  14. Couple of Ricordia yumas. Hopefully they will spread and fill up the rock.
  15. First few livestock: banded sea stars. Probably won't see them much after this
