Hi SRC,
From what I've gathered, people usually use some kind of pellet/rowaphos/etc in a fluidised reactor or liquid chemical extractors like goodbye phosphates. I'm wondering if there are any natural ways to reduce phosphates. Do beneficial bacteria in live rocks consume phosphates?
Yup. Just did some tank cleaning to remove the unsightly algae. Just find it weird that it appeared only after 2 months. Though i had a diatom bloom the first week already
New tank, around two months old. Increased my lighting schedule lately and these started coming out...
Are they diatoms, or brown filamentous algae, or dinos?! They are all over the glass and the rocks
What should I do?
Thanks
