how to get my purple tang out of my tank?
limbssg replied to 19percula's topic in General Reefkeeping_
This is the Betta box. There is a sliding door that you can tie a string to pull it up and after ur fish enters the box just release the string. Pretty common in LFS here, cost around $15-$20. -

I don't use a heater. Pic is from Reef Central. But my sump is almost the same. Just measure the internal width of ur sump and ask a hardware shop to cut the exact size of acrylic and silicon them.

Specific Care Information: Cauliflower Corals are often found naturally occurring on reef ledges, in caves, or in darker areas of reefs. In aquariums, they can make an interesting display when attached upside down in a cave or ledge of a reef tank. In nature, Cauliflower Corals are always found in areas of water movement. They are filter feeders, and constant water motion helps provide them with the nutrients they need. In captivity, gently stirring the substrate can often help to stir up nutrients a Cauliflower Coral can feed on. Feeding a Cauliflower Coral with phytoplankton or invertebrate food, by placing it directly in the water flow, is widely accepted as a good feeding method for these corals. Most Cauliflower Corals never recover from the stress of shipping. Most are shipped attached to a rock. Because most Cauliflower Corals do not thrive in captivity, and because most specimens for sale are so unhealthy, these corals are only recommended for experienced hobbyists. Although Cauliflower Corals do not need light, they will tolerate it at low levels. Temperatures between 72 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit (23 to 26 degrees Celsius) and a pH value of 8.3 to 8.4 are acceptable. The specific gravity should remain between 1.023 and 1.025. A moderate flow of water over the coral is important. Trace elements should be tested regularly and replaced as needed.

When MRT started many yrs ago, ppl were saying that the spot where Bishan MRT was built used to be a cemetery. And then last time 'Singapore Ghost Stories' was really popular and it published many 'real encounters' regarding that place.

any fun areas to bring someone special out?

Wow! Phewbacca u are so thicked skin!!! Going to a movie is a no-no. A three-hour date with a movie that lasts two and a half-hours is not a good way to get acquainted. You want to spend as much time as possible to talk to her. Ice skating sounds good to me. For me, Alkaff Mansions is a good place for makan. Nice surroundings, romantic, quiet and very love mooded. And don't forget to order ur flowers n cake early. -

I have quite a number of medium to large size fish and small butterfly will not do well in my tank. In fact, this article recommends to purchase 3" to 5" butterfly. Most LFS only carry small specimen though. -
