My hammer died when I put it back into my tank. Read that some German guy used Tifomycine to cure the brown jelly disease. It's some kind of broad based antibiotic I think. http://reefdreams.de/lang_eng/info_13_eng.html Anyone know where to get this drug without a prescription? Like online? Having it in a separate tank currently seems to have slowed the brown jelly. Anyone know where I can't get this drug tyfomycine? Apparently it works on the disease Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's been like that since I first put it in after a fresh water tip. Maybe the colour is abit of in the photo. But it used to be under 2 x 14W blue light from Dymax and was positioned in the middle level of my tank ( about 20cm in a 40cm deep tank ). I thought it was not bright enough so I just went to get a fixture of 3 x 24W light (2 blue 1 white) just installed last week only Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi all, just wondering if it is normal for my hammer coral to be only outstretched by this much. Had this frag for about 3-4 months now and this is about all I have ever seen it outstretched. Is this normal? Its growth seems to be very slow too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Can anyone give some advice on installing float switches? What do I install the float switch to? Do I connect the wires of the float switch to part of the electrical wire that powers the pump? Not very good at electrics. Most of the setups involve some kind of soldering.... Beyond me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Btw I'm using an overflow system by skimz Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hahaha! I think my wife met your wife. Now my wife super sensitive to the sound of water for fear of an overflow again. I only protected my overflow system from electrical trip that that would be the more common problem. Currently researching into overflow prevention measures. Anyone with tips? The dreaded flooding has finally occurred this morning. Siphon in the overflow broke. I suspect because my floating feeding tray got stuck in a position that created bubbles. Good thing my wife has good ears, she thought it was raining. Sigh.. Anyone else got similar experience? Any alarm device available anywhere? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Errr.... What's that green stuff all around the frag? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
