  2. Hey, thanks for the indepth review. I think I'll grab one on my next business trip to China!
  3. Hi Solo! Thanks for the tips! The terror in my tank is an african flameback. The Potteri and Argi are caged in 2 betta boxes in my sump pumping them with food. I'm waiting to buy one more dwarf angel, probably a flame or another argi before I plonk all three into the main tank. Hopefully three dwarves will divert the flameback's attention from picking on a specific newbie. Thanks again for the tips!!!
  4. Hi Solo, how did you manage to place so many dwarf angels together? I have an argi and a potter in my sump waiting to be released into the main 4x2x2 tank but I'm afraid that the fat flameback will kill them. The flameback chase after every new small fishes I dump in, even anthias! Please teach me how! Thanks!
  5. And my true octo suddenly decide to melt off bit by bit....urgh! Bad new year for me
  6. The yellow polyps zoa at the bottom left was growing really well. From a single polyp to a small colony but suddenly they are all dying off. Sigh....my favorite zoa... and Bangaii Cardinal is not invert safe. This joker ate my anemone shrimp alive.... it was choked like that for over half a day and finally managed to swallow the shrimp. Poor shrimpy...
  7. I assume its the sump tank you are talking about? Is it a recent problem? My sump area is pretty damp due to evaporation and water spray. I keep my doors open at night to improve the air circulation to solve the problem.
  8. Your tank size for LPS, 2 will be enough but 3 will be better. Get the 60degrees optics PAR38. With 2, you will get shadows on the sides. Not a bad thing if you plan to have sun corals and sea fans there Am running 1 for my sump and 1 for a nano. Doing great!
  9. Looking for small female lyretail anthias. Saw a tank full of it at Ah Beng on sat but all gone today Anyone seen any smallish 2inches ones? Thanks!
  10. I never have aggression problems with Kole and Hippo. The powder series is very aggressive though. I would suggest you do 3, 2, 1. Decide on which power tang you want because once it is stable in your tank, it will harass all other newly added tangs regardless of shape size and sub-species.
  11. Still looking for Anglerfish (Frogfish). Please let me know if you've seen any
  12. Got my 1st fish for the new year – Centropyge Argi Some left but not many I think. Many Royal Gammas, Yellow Tangs and Peppermint Shrimps.
  13. For SPS, how fast can we raise the parameters for Ca, Mg and Alk? Thanks!
  14. Hey Wilson I'm slowly being drawn into the dark side too Been dosing manually also, its such a pain. Been wanting to try dosing pump but firstly I dunno how it works and secondly I see all the big jerry cans and tubes all over people's photos connected to the pump so I'm hesitant. Haha. Thanks for the SPS keeping tips!
  15. Fixture with 4 ATI Tubes used for about 1 year and kept in storeroom for 9 months due to tank upgrade. Minor fault: 1 parabolic reflector clip missing Selling at $150 Please PM me with you contact number if interested.
  16. Personally, my calcium and alkalinity seem to stabilize better after bumping up my magnesium
  17. Hi Nitro, you should let the "care-taker" finch do the job. Unless you are forced to handfeed, then you can go to Goodwill Trading (Block beside Petmart) to buy baby bird formula. Handfeeding is pretty troublesome. Let me know if the baby finch is abandoned and require you to handfeed.
  18. Hey Nitro, I have experience with hand raising baby parrots. Not sure if Finches would be the same or not. Let me know if you need help
  19. Hi guys, my Par38 just went totally dead. Maybe some parts got burnt or something. Anyone know where I can send this for repair? Help!!!
