  2. This was started back in October 2019 and lots of up and down since. In January was a sad case, made a mistake of adding 2 small fishes without QT. All my other fishes were Quarantined. Velvet entered my tank and wiped out all the fishes except my leopard wrasse. This was my tank before the velvet attack.
  3. I have recently moved to the west into my new BTO, of course new home must have new tank! Here are some of the details of the tank. 1372mm x 400mm x 500mm with 12mm glass and front and one side crystal clear glass. Frame and tank from Aquarium Artist Vincent. Rest of the cabinet by my ID.
  4. I dont think can find copper safe in sg. I tried.
  5. For chelated copper you can try Eiho copper. It is chelated. I used it to treat my leopard wrasse for velvet. My whole tank was wiped out except my leopard. So I caught him out and treated in case he spread to the other new fishes. Go slow when treating. Few drops a day. I also fed with dr g anti parasitic caviar while in QT. It is soaked in chloroqine phosphate. If u want u can come to my place. I can give u half bottle to try. Not all fishes will eat it though.
  6. thats very fast. My 3L tank still have even after 3months, is there a leak somewhere?
  7. This is ADA tank a branded tank. How can it cost $10 at ah being?
  8. Algae growth also can be contributed by excess of nutrients. Just the lights is one factor. When building a tank look at the various nutrient exports out there. Just skimming or water change wont be sufficient esp for a bigger tank. Some of the common ones are using chaeto, running biopellets, carbon dosing such as nopox.
  9. For a small tank no need so much chemical filtration, why not do more water changes as it is not a lot of water. Also what kind of water do you top up with and do your water changes with?
  10. I'm using the kamoer fx stp on a reef octopus reactor. Pulling the water from the reactor to the tank. I run it at around 40ml/min. This should be dependent on ur alk uptake levels. I measure almost every day till I dial it to a constant alk level and I leave it. Occasionally turn it up or down based on tank alk. Super easy
