Ur cycle shuld have finished already since nitrate is up. When i was cycling my pico tank my ph also around 7.8, maybe can do a few water changes with salt mix to correct it. Are you using NSW or salt mix?

My 6 lined wrasse decided to go carpet surfing... It really brought life to the reef, always cruising around. Guess shall let the pod population stabilize before adding another. Added a new clam and some frags.

Hi anyone here running skimmerless? Was thinking of going skimmer less so can reduce electricity and heat cost. When i first started my tank my skimmer pulled out lots of dark smelly junk and my ATS grew like crazy. That was when my nutrients was high. Now my nutrients are very low and my skim mate is very light in colour my ATS also not growing much same for the chaeto and red bamboo algae, was thinking of going skimmerless to try for a few weeks.

I have narcissus snails, blue legged hermit, scarlet hermit and a tuxedo urchine. Also have a cleaner shrimp and skunk shrimp

Thanks bro ashwin. Im using the same one. My tank only 30 gallons so hard to measure half a drop. So decided to use my dosing pump as have one channel still empty.

Think need rotate on ur computer first. In windows viewer do the rotate

Using dosing pump for ca and kh, just started using it for iodine as well, acro power is weekly manually

Hi Bros, Just want to ask, if i want to dose iodine can i mix it with DI water and pour it into a small container and use a dosing pump? Will dose less than the recommended amount and also will split it to twice a day. Estimated need to make a new batch every 2 weeks. Will the iodine last till then? Also could I extend it?
