    Have been fighting to bring down phosphates to no avail. Even using phos correx can't seem to bring it down. Suspect that my live rocks or marine pure block is leeching heavily due to the me killing it all with bleach. Going to swap the marinepure block with 10L of siporax. Now cycling in a bucket

    restarted the whole tank. bleached all the live rocks.. lost quite a few corals. the ones i can save i placed in Willy tank. den add new sand etc

    tank crashed in nov and dec last year due to very bad bryopsis outbreak. managed to save some corals with the help of willy! Have restarted and keeping sps this time.

    But if u got budget n space can consider the ghost skimmer. Have heard it is a good skimmer

    It depends on ur skimmer. If u can raise the power or water flow den go ahead. If not u lower the skimmer a bit. Do u run carbon as well? Last time when I rum a nano skimmer I find when I newly add in carbon it might hinder the skimmer for awhile.

    Sometimes it takes hours for the bubbles to build up to get the skimmate. So what I do. If it is not skimming after a few hours I raise the water level a bit den wait again
