  5. Only the smaller size clams need to be fed phytoplankton. The rest will just filter feed from the water column no need additional feeding
  6. Seems like due to adding a lot of fishes at one time could have increased ur nutrients. Can I check what test kits are u using for nitrate and phosphate

  8. Maybe u wanna try getting a salifert nitrate test kit. It is more reliable. And yes carbon dosing is safe for fishes and corals.
  9. Can try redsea nopox or aquaforest nitrophos minus or just vinegar. But do read up first and start slow
  10. Whats ur setup like? Any skimmer, chaeto, ats? If have skimmer can do carbon dosing. But go slow dont suddenly drop ur nutrients too much

  12. Mine is the other way round hanna reads 7.3 salfifert 6.5
  13. Don't think the hair algae is due to temperature. It can grow in low temperature as well. It is mainly due to nutrients in the tank
