  1. I dun think water changes can keep up with the sps demands. Unless u do like twice every week. Depends on how much sps u have. Just constantly monitor it. might have to add more kh and ca
  2. What lights u using for ur refugium. My chaeto grows even with low nutrients. Could be also lack of iron
  3. Yup used a air wood skimmer last time. The wood had to be replaced regularly. Also could be caused by other things. Last time I added carbon in and it couldn't skim anything for a week or two. After that it returned to normal
  4. i dun catch them. they go up on their own via the return pump. some times u can give ur chaeto a good shake and im sure some will go up
  5. Im keeping it in my tank for a few weeks already, seems quite ok. I have a 2ft dt with a 2ft sump. I bought copepod cultures to seed my sump. also i feed arctic pods on alternate days.
  6. it is quite common in ah beng. need a mature tank with sufficient copepods to be kept. cannot keep in too small tank
  7. my water around 27.5. clams seem to be doing ok
  8. blue tang must add last also. found out that it has been killing all my new fishes.
  9. recently i bought a sps colony from AM and when i came back i dipped it in a few mins in Coral RX. Yesterday i spotted 2 crabs inside, luckily it seems to be the smooth shell type.

  12. dun think so. it seems ur ammonia not 0 yet. must wait till completely 0. slowly add. maybe can start with easy corals. bubbles and zoas
  13. u might want to get 0 ammonia and nitrite. the rest depends what livestocks u want to keep.
  14. You shuld cycle the tank. Cause its not just the water, u need the bacteria to build up in ur bio media, live rocks and sand
