    Due to some negligence bryopsis attacked my tank again. At the same time have lost quite a few sps. It was a tough time. Did quite a lot of clean up. Removed quite few rocks to remove the dead spots. And removed most of the sand bed to easier manage my nutrients. To combat the bryopsis i manually removed the bryopsis used hydrogen peroxide on the left overs. After about 2 months of rigorous water change and hydrogen peroxide dosing it is finally held at bay. Started to stock up some frags as well. Here are some recent shots

    my tank is experiencing a slow leak. going to start slowly decom my tank sadly.. First to let go is my 3 clams First is this big maxima around 15cm purplish blue $70 Second is this clam dunno is what type. $60 Brown markings with blue spots around 8-10cm Lastly this blue clam around 4-6cm $30 For those who take all 3 clams will get a marine pure block FOC!!     Well u can buy bacteria to dose like microbacter 7 or microbe-lift. Add in a piece of prawn as food and there u go.

    Agreed diatoms could be caused by using tap water. Investing in a rodi or di unit is important

    I had a jebao dosing pump do that once.. Recently my marine magic pump died on me and if got power off u got to reset the timing. So its quite irritating. Heard good reviews for kaomer so just got that. Easy to operate too!
