Had a very bad experience with hermit too. Had a red scarlet hermit. 2 heads of my torch were infected with brown jelly and this fella just took them out even to the tentacles that look stressed. Heng I managed to recover my torch. It is still healthy.. just that a bit "botak" only.
From my understanding, they are still carnivores & scavengers; so I have to say it depends on luck whether they are reef safe. Imho, they are not 100% reef safe.
Hmm. Ya I'm thinking it might be ex in the long run. Since for a nano tank, I can do wc more frequently to keep my water parameters at the tip top condition. But for keeping sps do you think it will be good to dose it weekly?
1 more thing to add on. Is everyone entitled to 1 frag only? I'll be disappointed if I'm the 4th or 5th person inline and all the frags are already booked.
As above, selling $30. Collection is at yishun.
Size approx 5inches when extended & 2 inches for skel size.
Reason for sale: not enough space, too big for my tank.
Photos are taken under par 38 led light (4w, 4b, 4g)
Haha bro. You got me on that one. I was so serious about it haha. Anyway just a suggestion, if you want your sps to look shiny, maybe you can try sprinkle some shiny powder on it or put sticker on it to create that special "feel" haha [emoji16]
Got back home late last night and I saw a bunch of pods swimming in my tank. Only to realise they are my cleaner shrimp larvae when I switch on my lights and attempted to take a video of them.
This hobby really never fails to amaze me. Always full of surprises
My question is, how do I go about raising them? Most of them got eaten by my cardinals as shown in the video. I managed to save a few and put them in a small glass container with an air pump.
On a side note, anyone has any exp in this? Can share your experience? Thanks!
