  1. planned obsolescence works when they quote a products lifespan and it stops working at nearly exactly the end of its lifespan(or warranty). If they are losing spectrum like this it's smearing their reputation so it's unlikely this is a result of planned obsolescence
  2. Spectrum drop because of improper heat management, too high voltage or crappy diodes. I would say it's crappy diodes and heat management
  3. Pinnacle had them this week. I saw the exact same piece there. My guess for care would be That It is similar To Care For Like normal zoanthids
  4. Wild Zoa colonies usually prefer water with higher dissolved nutrients
  5. It may not be bleached. Delicate anemones are usually white with purple or blue tips

Bought at $8 each Please respond quickly as they are already in a container
  11. @kenyee agreed. The wp60 is good enough on the lowest speed but it's just an eyesore. Oh and I managed to visualise the wave maker current by blowing bubbles through a straw beside the wave maker. Seems random to me lol
  12. Wp60 is too strong? I use surge mode(w1) on lowest strength and it seems quite OK for soft corals and lps at the other side of the tank. Btw my width is 2.5 feet. Oh and I managed to get pretty nice turbulent and random flow by pointing my wave makers at each other on else mode
  13. Hi guys, I havebeen having too much laminar flow in my tank, till the point my sps skin is starting to tear up. Would aiming 2 wave makers(wp40&wp60) at each other while on random flow opposite side of The tank(4 feet) create a Turbulent flow Btw sorry if this is in the wrong page not sure where to ask this question. Thanks
