May i know what are the differences between deltec mce 600 and the red sea prizm ?? Just wanna compare their pros and cons. The volume of my tank is 131 litres btw.

Deltec MCE 600 . or Red sea prizm ? both are hang over skimmers for my 3ft x1.25 tank without sump. Pls advise. thanks !

Alright, im thinking of filling my huge water bottle with water then i freeze in it the freezer, once its frozen i put that into the tank. it will reduce the temperature of the water to around 24 or 25 degrees. DIY " Chiller" Lol

Am i right to say that by using a OHF will need more hardwork thats all right? Wont affect the tank in anyway, other than more frequent WC. In that case i can save up my money on buying a canister filter.

What's ro/di water? i dont have either one of them.. so means i must get another big pail for w/c in the future?

Thanks for the information given. May i know how do u add the salt into the tank for the first time and when doing water changes? Do you add pour the water in the tank first than add the salt. or u add the salt first into the water before u pour the water into the tank?

Hey, dont mind if i ask 1 question, how do u mix ur salt into the tank? U fill ur tank with water then u add the salt in, or u add the salt in before putting the water into the tank?

My new tank is 3ft .x1.25 . was wondering if i should DIY a sump first than get a skimmer, or i just skip the sump and straight away get a hang over deltec skimmer. Any advise? Also please let me know how i can DIY a sump for my tank if possible ! Thanks in advance.

Hmm, i would mainly want to keep lps corals like hammer corals, anemones and elegance coral. and fishes would be clownfish and some blue tangs. So is it possible with just a canister filter?

Why is it not suitable for coral? I dont think there's any internal filtration except for that top filter.. is it possible to put the mce600 inside cabinate ? or maybe outside the tank on the floor?

I don't mind doing water changes more frequently. I will begin water cycing tmr. So mean's i'll be able to maintain a good marine fish and corals aquarium if i dont have all that equipment? all i need to do is do more frequent WC right ?

HI GUYS ! Can someone give me advise on what I need to set up my marine aquarium? Im new to this. I've just bought a 3ft x 1.25 tank. It came with 3 T8 lights, 1 white and 2 blue. And it also comes with a top filter. Theres no sump or what so ever. What should I get next? This tank is mainly for LPS corals and marine fishes like clown fish. I'll begin water cycling soon. My budgey is below 1k. There's a few people telling me to get a deltec skimmer or a canister filter, while some other says that it may not be necessary to do so. I'm able to do WC once a week or even twice if I have no skimmer or what. So what do u guys think ? Give me some advise pls ! There's 2 photo of my tank Thanks in advance! Aim and achieve.

If i dont get anything, will my fishes or corals die faster? Which one do you think is the best and cheapest?
