  1. Any bro here using the guideline of 75% from main tank to skimmer and 25% to refuge design here as suggested by reefkeeping.com? Any good idea of how the sump tank (3 feet) should be design if I am going to include a refuge. The main tank is 4 feet. Thanks!

  9. Thanks bro, the reason I am considerating Sodium Bi-carbonate is because is cheap and can get from any supermarket. I will try and see how it goes and hopefully not experience too much swing in PH. Thanks for advice.
  10. If you have clams and SPS, do nothing and Cal level will drop over time. If you worry, do water change partially.
  11. Hi, I read that dosing the baking soda will increase the KH, but should I baked it or not? assuming my PH now is around 8.3. Heard dosing the unbaked one will cos the PH to drop and KH to increase and dosing the baked one will increase both PH & KH. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

  14. I wanted to get myself one but need to make sure they are pallet fed first. Was told they are quite new...so I rather wait.
  15. I believe they are Maxima, but the colour are much nicer than the usual one you see. They are quite small, around 2 inch.
  16. The AT, mostly new arrival, are around $170, when i asked the lady. Not sure if you can ask for discount.
  17. Coral farm: Usual stuff, lot of baby clams, tangs, Indo Harequin, Triggers and a small shark too!
  18. In LCK today, lots of clownfish (OCR), butterfly, and lots of Achilles Tang! Got myself a really small clam but very nice colour.
  19. Saw some spotted sea bass (small), damsels and a few species of trigger fish at Wong Loy Kee. Not much corals tho.
