Just to share... Took some photos with iPhone of Button coral having a meal of a piece of MP. Pardon me for my lousy photography. First shot - Coral with it's tentacles extended. Second shot - MP dropped onto tentacles, looks like it is swallowing it. Third & Fourth shots - MP already eaten. You can see a little hump over the surface where the MP was dropped. When you actually touch the green portion it is actually quite soft.

Thanks for advice. Will try.

Thanks for correcting me. I am bad with names. Yes, it's Scolymia or Button Coral (looks like a shirt button really). Wow, your icon is a Scolymia Maniac too!

Just to share... Photos taken by iPhone of my 20cents sized brain coral during day. And at night, when it extends it's tentacles to feed.

To share another story by a taxi driver (former police officer) which was published over Sunday times. He actually donated part of his liver to a total stranger which if that didn't happen, the patient would have up the lorry. Some might even think twice doing that for their own family members. Think positive and better times, good vibes for you. Law of Attraction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Should have a video how you trap the fishes, should be quite funny. Haha. Very easy to add fishes but very very difficult to catch them among the rocks especially shrimps.

You need to be more careful with carbon + bac dosing as they consume much oxygen and alter parameters considerably. At the same time you will need an oversized skimmer for better results.

Water a bit blur probably due to high bio load and heavy feeding. How is your razor nano lightings? Light seems very directional on your tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

I see. Looking out for sexy shrimps. Interesting to watch the way they wave their abdomens. Good lens with 1:1 micro capability. Nikon user. Same camp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Does your long claw, hunch back and sexy shrimps munch on your corals? Where did you get them? Nice shot by the way. What macro lenses did you use?
-
Dreams, alternatively you might want to setup a refugium especially for a large tank. Unlike fresh water, we can get it off our PUB supplies, changing only 10% of salt water is no joke!
-
Which type did you use and can it be found locally?

I understand alcatraz01. No offence here. Good that you take it positively. Just to caution, mentioning the taxi number, date and time you can actually pinpoint the taxi company and driver. LTA might want to take action against them. In return, without proof and evidence of one's wrong doing the taxi company or driver can sue for defamation by slamming them over the net. It's like "LKY IC no: xxxxxxx, you short changed us!"
-
By not checking the change, cant blame anyone. Why share negative but not positive experiences? China woman are known to be gold diggers but can we conclude all China woman are gold diggers? It's like your work place. There are some who are your good buddies and some you think they are PITA. Conversely they think the same about you. In this world there is always the Yin and Yang. Strike a balance and think positively. Many of us are frequent travelers and sometimes carry foreign currencies with us. In the end many end up in the taxi driver pocket. So now who short change who? Since you know the taxi number etc, why not highlight this to the company for further investigation and clarification instead of broadcasting over the net without understanding the other party? Tank algaeized. Not good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free -
Quality lighting is important. Most people believe in the blues as it has better penetration through salt water. But at 2ft, most wavelengths will actually make it through, unless you tell me your tank is more than 100m deep. Two important ranges would be the blue as well as the red spectrum which are important to the zoox.
