  1. Please help ID the USO about 0.5 cm in length. Swims occasionally when disturbed. Good or bad pest.
  2. Nano tanks have their strengths. Simplicity is fashion. You could do more with the already nice black sand. Good start! Hope to see more updates.
  3. You might want to check your PO4 as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

  5. Just to share... My Open Brain Coral (Lobo) finishing up a MP. It sure took a long long time to eat..

  11. I guess so. Talking about frags, I need to buy some reef plugs. But most LFS don't sell them. Anyone knows where can I get them (cheap ones) or anyone has some to sell? Please PM me. My zoos were "budding" and a couple fell off the mother colony by itself. Didn't cut them. Currently just left them on the sand.
  12. Yes, this coral filter feeds and if these 8 "hairy tentacles" don't come out, we may have a problem. Close-up photo strictly under 10k lighting
  13. Thanks for sharing your experiences. With your TLC, it will do well. .
  14. Another observation: No ladies around.... Nice ladies around.... I am sorry, what are you thinking? It's just a sponge.
  15. Thanks bro. Will see if I can get off the shelf first. Looks like a good product, helps to polish my water too. Zeovit is an advanced system (as opposed to most of our Berlin systems) for nutrient export. Works so hard that you even need to add supplements and feed the corals more often. Have you used it?
  16. A word of caution about transferring this to your tank. Do not bring the coral out of the water for too long. If air gets into the "pores" where the "flowers" are, it might damage the coral. That also mean that you should not have algae growing on it as well.
  17. Can get from Pinnacle at least? Depending on size, about three red notes.
  18. Like the bright red, adds colour to the tank. Like a underwater cactus. Kept for less than a week from LFS.. Fed only with liquid coral food. Anything to recommend? Another observation: 3. Likes moderate flow and shaded lighting.
  19. Just to share.... My so so Red Tree Sponge Coral (I stand to be corrected) - photo by iPhone 2 observations: 1. This sponge coral is really like a sponge, it can grow twice it's size and also contract to it's original size at different times. 2. The "white flowers" that appear on the branches do retract if touched. Looks like a cactus. If anyone has another observations, please do share...
  20. Saw some at Pinnacle today but not sure of grade. Insane colors and limited supply, fair to command a premium. Collectors item. Brighten up the tank as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  21. Power combination. Can the corals become chow tar or not? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  22. Nice combination of colors. What tank size and equipment used? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  23. Good start! Stocking slowly is the right way to go. Looks like a deep tank, same cabinet colour as one of mine. The doggie looks a bit curious but it's ok, his or her new buddies.
  24. Nice scollies! Hope to get own one.
