  1. hi bros, looking for a skimmer for nano tank and a small anemone. anyone have any of the above to let go can contact me at 90934940 cheers!
  2. i currently have a nano and was running two small fans and managed to keep the temp between 27-29 degrees celcius. recently managed to get a chiller cos it was very cheap. i would say a chiller isnt a must but would be beneficial in having a more stable temperature. but then again, temperature in the natural environment fluctuates too. to each his own, part of the hobby is making mistakes and learning heh!
  3. bamboo sharks are cute! see them sold at farms and heard they sell the eggs too
  4. yea heard hydrogen peroxide very effective but have yet to get down to trying it. irritating to see beautiful zoas having those ugly algae grow out of them. i bopian slowly pluck the hair out every now and then
  5. i just leave my clams on the sandbed and they climb to wherever the feel most comfortable haha damn cute

  9. wa swee la your progress! like the mix of colours in your tank!
  10. tried it once and did not last long for me. have to be under strong flow to prevent build up of debris on it. evolutionz on here has managed to keep it for quite a while!
  11. haha let it float to somewhere it likes. or u can take a small box, fill it with tank water and some small debris and let them latch on to it. then u glue down that small bit of debris onto your rocks in the tank.
  12. im not sure if it will be an overkill but sometimes i like to on pure blue light for viewing sake. i think corals look best under pure blue light, most will become luminous like!
  13. amazing sps man! wish i could keep some of those and maintain them swee swee!
  14. never knew corals eat pellets too! but does the nutrient content affect the corals in any way? nice rbta anyway
  15. i prefer to have sand cos of aesthetic purposes but yes, detritus can be irritating especially when they go underneath the rocks. even lifting the rocks gently will cause all the detritus to fly out.. no choice but to siphon them out during WC. but even up till now i have no idea where these detritus come from, i dont keep any fishes haha
  16. haha what does the app do? like a virtual marine reef fish tank? or like an encylopedia?

  21. Hi guys, I have a small rainbow farm tank (not sure considered nano/pico) and was thinking of whether I should DIY an algae scrubber. Will an algae scrubber be feasible for such small tanks? And can the algae scrubber be external instead of in the main tank? And if possible, does anyone have any idea how to DIY a small and simple one? Thanks a lot n advance!
