  1. Bro, What is the link between ich and NO3. Maybe u can enlighten us on this. Thanks.
  2. Bro MT, Fludising allows better flow and prevent "channeling". As such, effeciency improves as compared to non fludising CR. Too bad my CR does not allow fludising to occur. Some of the local made CR have fludising function, saw it in action b4 at Iwarna. Also I saw for myself, Korallin 3000 series CR is fludising too.
  3. bro, how is this pcs doing? Mine is started to plate onto the base rock.
  4. Thanks for sharing. Maybe u can do a review of the Ca and KH obtain when this until has run in. I suppose a fludusing CR is better than those non fludising ones.
  5. U shld look at Bro MT full range of H&S product. So neat and tidy. He has got a CR, Skimmer, H&S FR, KR..........
  6. Hi Shoe, 1. Does the CR comes with a pH probe mount? 2. Is this CR fluidising during operation? 3. Does the CR allows excess CO2 bleeding to occur? 4. Can u PM me the damage? Thanks for sharing.
  7. This is my Chiller pic. Its kept above my tank to prevent salt spray and proper ventilation too.
  8. Up for the long weekend. Chiller is still avaiable.
  9. Oh dont mention it. Glad u found replacement media for yr denitrification process. Happy reefing. Sori
  10. after give out progress package, must take some back.
  11. 3/4 S bead + 1/4 coral sand. Good luck to the buyer in search of an NR.
  12. To help cut cost, Why dont u try sulphur beads instead. Reef depot selling 1kg for $30. It is cheaper than deniballs and more potent/effective. I reckon 1 kg is enuff to fill up a NR400. Look ard for 2nd hand NR400 deals, I saw a few selling at less than $100. Sometimes if u are lucky, the owner may throw in free deniballs!
  13. Jervis, Yr NR 1000 leak? Let me guess, did u use the dosing pump SP3000 to push water into the reactor?
  14. Actually deniballs and powders are consumables which need to be purchase seperately. Dont need a dosing pump, gravity feed will do liao.
  15. I may be wrong but these are my thoughts. Kent Marine Nitrate sponge is Zeolith base(stone base), similar to Seachem Denitrate. Pura is a synethic resin, similar to Seachem Purigen. I have tried both Seachem Purigena n denitrate. Both does not work as claim. I give up on them and stick to protien base denitration(Aquamedic). My Bro MT have done another review of S base denitrator, it works like a charm but the cost is like So I do agree w Bro MT when he say good things dont come cheap. Sori, . Having said that, I know that there are some bros who did a bulk purchase in another fish forum, maybe u can get them to share their reviews.
  16. bro, wat have u done to yr tank. the monti u got from me seems to double its size!
  17. I dont think so, if can be done, Bro MT would have T off to his CR I think I read some where that the sulphate by pdt will form a layer of coating on the CR media and makes it more diff for the acid to "burn" the media, resulting in reduce effiecient of the CR.One evidence is that the CR media will turn yellow in colour.
  18. I uses Ocean Nutrition F1 pellets and F2 flakes. My tangs love them.
  19. After been made a fool of, u still dont give up? Sori I dont have his number.

  21. I uses salifert only. Kh, PO4, NO3, Ca and Mg.
  22. How many wave makers u have in yr tank in view of yr densely packed sps.
  23. I have heard of good reviews on the deltec. I have know of a reefer who owns the 850L and 400L HS, 400L seems to skim better than the 850L, which I find strange.
