Hi, last two weeks my suncoral has not been doing well. Their polys has not been opening (even when I spray brineshrimp juice at it). Also observed that one colony of the polys have back stuff(maciam like aglae) on the polys. Last two days was worst, ot start spreading to surrounding polys too. When I use a satay slick to scrape of the "black aglae", I realise that its something like dead tissue. Anyone has similar experience. PS: It was feeding well when it was at my two feet tank, Now it is my new 4 feet(three weeks old), its not doing well.

What's the out flow pipe dimensions vs the inflow pipe dimensions? Currenty running overflow too with 1" (x2) to sump and 3/4" (x1) return to main tank. Powered by 1262 also. Yeah, me having bubling sound at sump also from the overflow water. Do share if u got any solution. Me thinking of adding wool floss to cushion the bubbling sound.

No . Me still use Silicon. Wat I did was apply silicon to between the joints. Due to the xtra space btw the tank (3/4"~18mm) and PVC tube (15mm), I pump in silicon to fill this gap. After which I screw in the male and female joint(also applied Silicon to them). Running for 24 hrs now. no leak. I agreed that Si dont stick well to PVC, so I would not disturb the PVC pipe

Using a 1262 for my 4x2x2. Inlet pipe is 3/4". Think bot from petmart less than $200

Re-assy with added Silicon btw joints and top and bottom side of tank. Tester for 3 hrs now. so far so good.

Just install an eheim 1262 to a 15mm piping. This 15mm piping is connected to a male and female joint. Problem is that the female side is leaking. Have already silicon the female joint. Interface between the glass tank and female joint is leaking. By using a rubber O ring, will it help to stop the leak?? Think rubber O ring will harden over time in salt water rite. Plumbing expert pls help!
