That is very wrong w the chiller. Is the output cold? I have known of the same senior reefer who ran the C0500 to below 20C and his tank is abt 522. There is something really wrong w the chiller.

I m not sure if having too high flow will affect the chiller performance. I got a feedback from a senior reefer that he runs 4000L/H pump and the chiller kick in/out very often. Myself running C0500 w 1260. Chiller kicks in every 1.5-2 hr or so and run for 20mins.

Hi M&B, Can u share the performance of this chiller? ie how often it kick in and the durantion of each kick in. Pls provide the heat source of yr tank too. TIA.

Seriously, if getting yr tank filled w quality natural seawater or thru synthetic salt mix is still too expensive, then better dont start in the first place. This hobby is not cheap any way.

bro, why dont just keep the tank and slowly upgrade/purchase the stuff. Then it makes yr life easier too. I started off this way too. No need to hurry and stock up every thing one shot.
