Using Resun CL650. When my 2x150Watt kicks in, i find that it take abt 1 hours to chill to 26C, rest for 2 hours or so and start kick in again for an hours or so. Using Extrema to power the chiller Tank is 4x2x2 with 2.5 x 1.5 x1.5 feet sump tank. Return is ehiem 1262, 1x aquabee pump for my skimmer and 1x 6060 wave maker. So far satisfied with the chiller.

I am using CL650 too. Running Extrema with it, 2x150 watt MH, no problem. can chill to 26C. Yr chiller is defininatly faulty.

Yes full., after taking into consderation of head loss etc.

I reckon it has to do with your atman pump used to cool the chiller. I have the same problem like u when i used a cheapo china made pump rated 1400L/H. Inactual fact it may be giving less than 1000L/H. However, I changed the pump to Extrema and it works fine after that.

u using a beckett rite, u may want to tune to give dryer skimmer, skimmate is too lwater IMO 2cents
