Sori bro, I think yr friend is very irresponsible if they really want to put thier dog to sleep if they just want to get rid of the dog.

I have this problem before. U need to 1. Clean the metal contact. Carbon built up due to arcing 2. Tighten the screws of the bulb holder. Overtime, the screw will become loose and contact will be loose. As such u cannot fire up the MH.
