  14. Jebao has made the wavemaker counter intuitive. S1 is the highest speed and S3 is the lowest. I had that problem too previously thinking that S1 was the lowest. This would probably help http://www.marineaquariumsa.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14638&d
  15. Honestly, I has the same question too wen I started a couple of months back. Had no idea how much salt to add and worse, didn't even know how to operate the hydrometer lol. Well, it's all about agar-ration initially. Then let the salt dissolve and test with a Refractometer. Would recommend Refractometer cause hydrometers are usually more inaccurate. Once you had read the initial salinity, add either more salt or water to achieve the salinity you need/want. Once you do it a couple of times, you will get better at it. Practice makes perfect!!
  16. I believe we need a wavemaker, one with a controller to create the waving motion. It has to accelerate the water forward, let it reflect and come back before sending out the next pulse. Seniors correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that we want to achieve a standing wave in a tank. The wave crest is always at the same point.
  17. Looking for red corals or LPS Let me know please. Thanks in advance
