  1. Agreed! You should run both rowas and biopellets right from the start. When your liverocks die off and start the nitrogen cycle it would prevent the rocks from absorbing nitrates. The rowas would also absorb the excess silicates from the sand lessening the diatoms build up later.

  3. Hairy crabs are not reef safe. I've got a strawberry crab in my tank. So far it has not touched the corals yet so should be okay I suppose.

  11. What is the best way to use it? I'm using reef roid at the moment but I'm quite sure I'm not using it correctly haha
  12. Been quite awhile. Tank is about 5 months old now. Parameters are stabilizing I suppose. Been stocking very slowly because no moolah! Guess the scape is okay but not perfect.
