  7. Hi bro dragoncube Modding the chiller is simple! If it is a hailea/resun one very straightforward. Just need to open the chiller casing, remove the front display panel and then can unplug already! Then replug the external temp sensor/probe in!
  8. Bro I know you meant it as a joke but hor, I really did think of that! But so boring.. I feel like fish shop lol..
  9. Seniors Got a 2ft nano running with LPS, monti and birdnest. The tank looks very boring and not lively cause only got 1) One sunburst anthias 2) One firefish 3) One false perc Want to find out what other nice fishes can I keep. I only know gobies, blennies and clowns are safe. But which type? I want a livelier tank please!!
  10. From what I read and learnt is that copper will be absorbed by any porous material. Rocks, sand and even filter elements. Then it leaches back into the water column over time making it unsafe for any inverts or corals. The only way is to be 100% safe is to dump them. That's why many reefers have a quarantine/hospital tank. It does not have any rocks and usually is bare bottom so that they can dose carbon to remove the copper after treatment.
  11. Looks like I'm not the only one who got some stick for paying too much attention and spending too much on the tank! HAhaha
  12. Hi dragoncube What filtration are you running? Canister? If so can connect the output into chiller and then return. Saves and additional external pump to feed the chiller. 1/15hp, 1/12hp or 1/10hp should be sufficient for the water volume you have. Anything smaller will have the chiller running for a long time. If you decide on getting a hailea or resun, remember to mod the temperature probe to and external one. If not your chiller will kick in and out every 15minutes.
  13. The rbta did not even move since I placed it there.. Seems to enjoy being in that position The green bubble tip moved a little but stayed put at the current location for 2 weeks already.. Theres anemone crab hosting in it as well..
  14. Trying to get space to place my corals. Any suggestions?
  15. Our power supply at home is a 3-phase 220VAC. AC means alternating current. Meaning the current flows back and forth. In the pumps, the AC is often rectified into a DC which means direct current. This current goes in a single direction. Whether AC or DC, water and electricity should never mix. Grounding probes would not help. It's just a band aid. Plus it's very very dangerous. When I was at Iwarna last week, the light above the tank was leaking current, the water have me a shock! The light was not even touching the water but current was getting in. Suggest that you turn everything thing off bro. Including all lights and wavemakers. Then slowly one by one switch on. Before turning on the next one, test the water for tingling sensation first. Just my two cents. Hope this helps
