The following pictures are photos taken of the Columbia (SPACE Shuttle) explosion from an Israeli satellite in space . They are sequential pictures of the Shuttle Explosion, taken from an Israeli Satellite in space. They were taken....obviously,just as the Shuttle began to explode over the Earth.

Correct, also build up nitrates at the same time.

I have a solution for you as I have busted many transformers intially for being naive. The size of your transformer depends the size of your pump/wattages required. In my case, my US pump is 80 watts, you multiply this by 2 (conversion from 110/120V to 220/240V), then multiply by a factor of 3 because of the current surge. That means that for 80 watts you need a transformer/coverter for at least 540 watts. The nearest transformer size available for me is 800watts (I have busted the 300watts transformer). With that transformer, my 80watts pump works very well. The 800 watts transformer cost be about S$170 in KL. My advice is to get a bigger transformer than the required capacity. The DIY shop initially gave me the wrong advice (he thought he was correct) but after busting a few transformers, he decided to call his Engineer friend who did the calculation for him). Hope this helps.

Mysis is white in colour and brine is reddish. Brine shrimp has little or no nutritional value. You can find them in most LFS in Spore. If you cannot find them, then uses finely chopped prawns will be good enough.

Not known to survive well in captivity, better leave them in the sea. If this can be easily kept successfully, you will see it in a lot of them in hobbyists tanks. Unfortunately you already bought it before you realise it's potential danger to your tank's inhabitants. Keep a close eye on it, feeding zoos is not a long term solution. From my earlier research, it is not recommended for hobbyists to keep nudis, the more colourful it is the more potent it's toxicity. I have also visited many public aquariums overseas and I don't remember seeing any display tank with colourful nudis in it.

Yes I had both, but your tank is too small for both. They will fight. If you really want to try out, although introducing both together may work but not guaranteed. I suggest you get smaller specimens (they grow fast), introduce one first follwed by another later, when introducing a second one, place it inside a bottle inside the tank (better if the fish can is allowed to stabilise in a seaprate tank or a sump compartment firt) so that the other can view but cannot attack and observe it for 2 days or so before you release it. I have tried this method for my basslet and perculas and it worked. Have plenty of rocks for the basslet to take cover as they like to hide in the rocks when introduced initially.

Extra funding to sustain our favourite hobby!!!

Sometimes they do if it is a small company, in this sort of pyramid/MLM set up, normally they credit your account directly instead of writing cheques.. I am always a sceptic for these easy money business, I must also acknowledged that there are few winners who made a lot of money out of it but then there will be losers many times over to "pay" for the "winners". It's a matter of time before the bubble will burst, heard of the good returns from the investment on forex, diamond, gold etc etc? Sounds familiar. -
some fishes does change colours partly because of the environment they are in and partly because of the food they eat. In most cases the lack of certain nutrition cause the fish to lose colour, so do some research as to what fish eats what food. I have also observed that in some cases maroon and common clowns do change colour after a while. Yes maroon clowns seems to become darker after a while like bright orange/red to brown. However there are certain type of fishes that change colours when they mature like some species of angelfishes, wrasses, damsels to name a few.

In fact, they require moderate flow so that they can "catch" the food passing by. Also lighting is not important to this coral as they do not depend on light for food, in fact they are indifferent to lighting. Hobbyists suggest placing them in low light area becos it gives you the "extra" space to place other light loving corals in it's place. It may be dying from starvation as these corals need to be target fed. The trouble is that if this coral does not die overnight, takes a while, unlike other corals.

Its a kind of hammer, the species with branches, name is E. Pancora (not sure of spelling). Easy to keep.

The top cover just rest on top, no screw or turn to fasten it. To remove it, just lift the cover up.

Thanks for your comments which I have taken note. I did not have the time to tune it as I was away overseas shortly after the skimmer setup. I will fine tune it now. thanks again.

Yup you are right. Skimmers need to be clean regularly for optimum performance. My point here is to make sure our fellow reefer (Marineman) will not waste his money on the waste collector. He will be very dissapointed to buy something which do not work. Anyway, Nice products you have there.

yes I can use an auto shut off, there is an outlet at the bottom of the collection cup which can be connected to an external container with auto shut off (I was told). Anyway I am going to place the external collection cup in my sump just in case for one reason or another it overflows, the water goes back in the sump and does not flood the room. The tank is located in my wife's office, so minimum maintenance is easier for me. FYI, the tank has mainly fishes with some leathers and fingers (hardy corals) for ease of maintenance. I feed them with ocean nutrition F1 and F2, mysis and finelky chopped squid, scallops, prawns and mussels alternately. I had high N03, about 150ppm. I would also like to share an experience with you guys on sugar dosing, a couple of reefer friends used to dose sugar to reduce NO3, it worked very well initially, I was very reluctant, but eventually gave it a go, I dose two sachets of sugar for my 350gals tank every 2-3 days. Initially the nitrates did actually comes down. I lost a few fishes in the process, not sure if it is the sugar initially but now it looks like sugar is the cause. Then the other 2 friends who had dosed sugar for a much longer time than me had their tanks completely wiped out! All fishes dead. i was lucky enough to stop it in time! I hope this skimmer will make my tank cleaner!
