  1. Still refusing mysis. On the bright side the white spots has reduced. Fingers crossed.
  2. Just when I thought things was turning good, I came home to discover the copperband is covered with tiny white spots all over the body. Is it ich? What should I do? It stop eating the mysis!
  3. Just witness the copperband eating mysis and nib 1 tiny aiptasia(lots more aiptasia available). Yellow Tang seems to stop harassing the copperband now. Wondering if I should remove the mirrors.
  4. Just added the copperband butterfly. No interest in the aiptasia so far. Nibbled the rocks. Was attacked by the yellow tang when feeding mysis. LFS mention it is not trained to eat mysis yet and only 75% chance it will eat frozen food. Using a mirror to keep the yellow tang away from the copperband. The mirror is doing its job well but concerned when the lights go off. Any thing else I can do?
  5. Can anyone share their experience with "Seagrass Filefish" for aiptasia control?
  6. The polyps are so tiny and the proximity with the zoos is giving me a headache. Noted on their diet, can't find any copperband at the moment. Thanks.
  7. Aiptasia colony blooming... I am so desperate for anything that can consume AIPTASIA!
  8. Thanks for sharing... Really needed to know. I have 2 colony of aiptasia that is an eye sore. I guess I need to look for a small copperband as my yellow tang is small too. Otherwise will need to try for peppermint shrimps again.
  9. Need some advise again. The Berghia Nudibranch are not doing it's job well... It only removed 2 aiptasia since I added it about 2 weeks ago. I am considering adding a copperband butterfly but I already have a yellow tang... Please share with me any experience with copperbands... Thank you.
  10. Thanks for the advise. It is tough to pluck it out without stressing/destroying the neighboring corals. Will have to hope for the best then. Thanks.
  11. Opps... I've epoxy the plug to the rock. I'm using T5s... But I notice if the light is low it opens a little but not like when I got it from the LFS.
  12. Yeah, I thought so, I have lots of red slime but my NO3 &PO4 is always okay... Will start the nopoX. Thanks.
  13. Using the Red Sea Algae Control Test Kit Nitrate: 0.00ppm Phosphate: 0.03ppm NoPoX on standby...
  14. The last time I checked both looked good... but I will check again and get back. BTW, can also advise why one of my zoanthid is NOT opening up whereas the others are doing fine? Not Opened... Doing fine...
  15. Just to give an update. These are suppose to be German Purple Digitata but their colors just won't come out... I have tried to add Red Sea Coral Colors D (trace elements)... Any advise?
  16. Noted... that will be a problem I am very happy to have (SPS overgrown reaching the water surface)... If I can reach that stage, I will learn from you guys how to "frag" these overgrown SPS (maybe can trade them for some other corals) Currently, that will be a distant dream... ha ha...
  17. You are spot on... I was worried about my nitrates so I will feed only once a week (target feed as little as possible) and do a water change immediately after feeding. I am doing water changes twice a week and it is starting to get tiring...
  18. Thank you for the advise... I will now focus on keeping the rest of the frags growing... Will be dosing Red Sea Reef Energy A & B and NO3:PO4-X (reducer) over the next week to improve my tank... Will also continue supplementing Red Sea Reef Foundation A & B (Calcium & Alkalinity)... Will report back after a week... Hoping for the best...
  19. Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary equipment to frag... Just got the Red Sea NO3 & PO4 test kit. Nitrate - 0.00ppm Phosphate 0.02ppm
  20. It was doing okay just not too long ago. So sad to have to see it go
  21. Really... Then I better take it out before it cause any problem. BTW, how do I dispose it?
  22. Just to update (compare the difference)... Getting better? SPS 1 (top) SPS 2 (bottom) Getting worst?
  23. Thanks for the encouragement. On the bright side. Just noticed the biggest piece of aiptasia in my tank has vanished. Hopefully the many tiny ones will vanish soon too.
  24. Just test my calcium is 450ppm. STN is getting worst. From 2 branches, it has 5 now. Am willing to give it to anyone who can save it.
  25. Noted and thank you. Will go take a look. I will start supplementing Calcium. Hopefully, it will recover soon. Otherwise, someone will need to save it.
