  1. Upgrade the lights to LumenAqua Mini 30 from a fellow reefer... Too long for my pico/nano and have to place it diagonally to have all 4 LED within the tank.
  2. Updates... BM NAC QQ sold and collected. Red Sea prizm deluxe still available. Thank you.
  3. I believe not many people is using this light set. Maybe you can write a product review about it.
  4. Wah… very worth the money…. I am guessing the timer for CherryAqua is external (not within the light set). I feel that you cannot compare with Maxspect cause the price is heaven and earth leh…
  5. BTW, is your lights the cherry aqua i-nano? Is it good? How much is it?
  6. Salute your persistence... You must have many clownfishes to have so much poo… I thought yellow tang is the ultimate poo maker! I believe soft corals (zoas) are more sensitive to carbonate hardness (dKH) & PH. They also have lesser tolerance (compared to fishes) for nitrate and phosphate. Maybe you like to test these water params and let the senior reefers here enlighten us on what to do in a nano system.
  7. Wah… that is a lot of LEB bulbs… So total how many watts? (e.g. 1 pc = 1 watt, you will have 90 watts) Actually, I am searching for "LumenAqua Mini 30 (2 Blue & 2 White)". Hopefully, it is small but bright enough for my super nano...
  8. Nice! Red Sea Max 130D… Previously, was quoted about $1k... Okay, will up the salinity when I change water… Looking to buy a 2nd hand LED light but none small enough for my 18cm x 18cm...
  9. Updates... Don't seem to be fully opened after 1 day. Maybe my lights are not strong enough. Full Tank Shot Temp: 26.5 degree celsius Salinity: 1.020 Will start testing for Ammonia, Phosphate, Calcium, Carbonate, Nitrate & PH with my API reef master test kit after 2 weeks...
  10. NICE! What lights are you using?
  11. Updates... Added an unknown zoanthid after just 1 week of cycling… Monitoring if it will survive.
  12. Updates... Added an unknown zoanthid after just 1 week of cycling… Monitoring if it will survive.
  13. I am planning to keep soft/easy corals. (Maybe zoa garden) Experimenting with a DIY ATO. Yes, will post more pics.
  14. Updates... Dymax cooling fan Time: from 7am till 8pm Temperature: down by 3 degrees Celcius (~30 to ~27) Salinity: increased from 1.018 to 1.019 Water Evaporation: ~100ml Skimmer not able to pull any out skim mate anymore… Guess the die off on the LR is complete...
  15. Yeah, hope to see how you do up your nano so I can learn too. Fingers crossed…
  16. Finally found it... Looks cool... Next, to see the amount of evaporation and the impact to salinity.
  17. Updates... Skimmate produced DIY collection cup (finally found a use for these things... Ha ha...) Add some mysis today to cycle the tank...
  18. Thanks, intend to build a reef so better be safe. Really... Thanks... I'm still hunting for that most neighborhood aquarium don't sell.
  19. Thanks, did check with them. The nano skimmer was for the iBox 21 litres. (8.5cm x 8.5cm)
  20. Full tank shot Changed to a cuter thermometer.
  21. Wah... Really so good... Hope it's affordable.
  22. As per the great advise from fellow reefers... Rinsed and brushed with RO/DI water before adding to sump.
  23. Updates... 1. Found a skimmer (I think this skimmer comes with the Skimz iBox 8L). 2. Live Rocks. Before setup After setup Will cycle for few weeks... Anyone can recommend a good fan? (or anything that can reduce the temp)
  24. Thank you for the precious words... Okay, I will try… What was the problem? Water Param?
  25. Live Rock - first choice. I was also recommended "bacteria king". Anyone used it? Any impact if I add it to a running sump?
