some of u guys here heard tt i am still in the process of looking for a tank and planning for a new one but afther seeing and knowing of quite a number of refers downsizing... im thinking twice
the main reason i wanted to upgrade was because i never realy had anythng bigger than a 35inch tank(my old 3ft wasnt a 3ft either )... having a bigger tank is more stable.... more room for fishes to swim........ larger room for error.....
but imagine how much i will spent on that
i was thinking of restarting my bubble_gum's 2ft reef seriously when i was looking at my 3ft tank thread and comparing it to my 2 footer..... i really missed having my 2footer.
i do forsee alot more advantages having a smaller tank ....
t5sufficient....
can upgrade to aquac remora and no need for brackets
no need to buy a new tank + cabinet cos i have one sitting in the living room
no need for tunzes and wave makers
i probably spend less than 500 on a chiller if i plan on joining the MH club
no need to spend hundreds on liverocks
but the thing is i dun want later after i finish stoking my 2ft tank then i start regretting.... yes yes buy ur last huge tank and ur happy once and for all but im sure there is a high possibility tt ur fingers may still get itchy and want to buy to upgrade right?
one of the reason i wnted to upgrade was because i loved my scopas and bt to death but they are in my FOWLR in the living room now so i mean i can still c them swim, eat and slp in there right?
as for the water parameters i just have to be extra deligent......
i can still c my scopas happy and fat and still enjoy corals in my 2footer
opinions please.... in a dilema
im a very fickle minded person
