u can keep a clam under pls the more tricky and important part is the water params in a nano and there are skimmerless systems for even very large tanks keeping some of the most demanding corals with no problems... DOC and pO4 can be removed by other ways such as water changes 2yr old nano? wow i can never keep a tank for more than 2yrs w/o upgrading hmm ever thought of modying to fit 32watt pl tubes... they fit in just nice in 1ft nanos or was it 28watt

i have one pink tip plate but the pink tip nt very obvious at first... but to me it looks like the pink can darken...well mine did did u ever notice the pink tip plate in reef en nature at pris in the display tank went from pink tip plate to pink tenticle plate oh ya if you think it may be a chance that the tips may nt be really pink, a real pink tip plate should look like a real dark purple under actinics. make sure they are on the sand ano no bubbles under them hor... i made that big mistake b4... take care of it cos there was one period of time that it was so bloody difficult to get pink tip plates and during that time i was quoted 80 for it u got a gem there

25 gal? wah my tank can but anthias are fishes which need frequent feeding and that will really give u problems with ur water quality thats y i sold my pt tangs eat and poo alot

have u check whether there are any micro bubbles stuck underneath the plate coral? usually thats one of the reasons for the dismise of these corals. these corals ae hardy but once there is a problem like micro bubbles caught under the plate or the sand is too coarse under the plate/being placed on rocks, the tissue may start to receede learnt it the hard way and lost a 2inch pink tipped one
