  5. hey guys thanks for the advice. im gg rescape my tank once i get my tank stand and switch to lps over the next few months, hopefully ready by june. since most of ur agree that bubble corals are hardy, that will b my first piece, xcluding my plate n goni which has been with me for monre than 6 mnths. thanks guys
  6. if the surface skimmer attracts u, get the via aqua multi skimmer. has a surface skimmer and a uv attachment for deluxe version. only 100 ard der. some ppl got it for 85. after 2 weeks of 'twitching' can get kopi-o effect. but a little noisey
  7. to me quite noisy. i have it in my room n i use the silencer at night wen i slp. but it will produce less bubbles

  9. im using it on my 2ft. skimate like black coffee.but i take 2 wks to get that, get the overflow werking properly and stop having fine bubbles flown back into the aquarium. either than that, i would reali recomend 3 ft and below for those with no sump
  10. u mean the soft coral's polyp? well check ur water param. mine didnt open up till i changed my bulbs.
  11. loads of sponges. sea pens, slugs urchins and starfishes u can pick up at low tide. but its a protected area. go to the coral rubble area.recomend to go for guided tour. my sch had a projectwork on check jawa.
  12. i read this sumwhr b4, the current has to be nt to strong n nt to weak. but the wave action must look like a washing machine on slow mode. and they do need a big tank.

  14. hey guys, i have given up on taking care of lps as i can onli sustain dem for 6 mnths and start to see tissue wasting. so i switched to softies and have exceptional results. but now im very tempted to go tank full of lps maeb onli bubbles under pl light onli. abt 110 wats in a 2 foorter, wad u uys think? how would u rate the care level of bubbles? is it as easier to take care than hammers. nitrite n ammonia undetactable in my tank. will let go loads of fishes and maybe my clams if i go full lps. but wat u guys think? are lps resonable easy at the same time more challenging than softies. wat lps do u refers recomend? thanks in advance.
  15. try photo plankton.once establish it wont move. stay put. but remember, if it dies it would wipe out all ur fishes. used to have one which lasted for 9mnths den i sold it away. heard it died in my frens tank.

  17. i think patince is a virtue. once the av* thing cools down u can stat seeing all the hard corals and clams again. hope so. if nt prices will go up. hmmmm maebe shud quickly get the derasa....
