I have biosphere. Run for about 2 months. Place it in skimmer compartment. I figured it has the most flow there. Come to think if it, after 2 months its abit disintegrated. Also have seachem di-nitrate. A clump of chaeto in the dsb refugium. Change from led to 1 feet t5 light in my sump my chaeto still struggle with growth.

I haven't started testing Mg and Ca. May try the poly lab med. I tried using AZ NO3 for my no3. Since nano tank quite hard to control. At 1 point, no3 shoot up to dark pink. 100ppm I think. Az no3 stabilize it but adding livestock naturally raises it again. I started dosing but got a feeling my fishes may be stress by it so stopped. May start the az no3 cycle again.

Hi all, I started this thread as I thought it may not be relevant to my previous thread about ich. Bottom line remains, fishes are dying. Perhaps it's ich, perhaps it's parameters, so I need your advices. Tank is a 2 feet cube with sump. Bubble Magnus nac 5 skimmer. Yes, there's ich as I notice my clowns and tangs get white spots. Some days the white spots do disappear. Only treatment is seaweed soak in garlic. Although garlic is debatable I still give it a shot. Tank running for around 10 months. Corals and inverts are ok. Nh3 and no2 is zero No3 50ppm Po4 0.5 Ph 8 Kh 7 Salinity 1.021 I know this is low. My gradually increasing it. 3 clowns 2 chromis 1 6 line wrasse 1 yellow wrasse 1 PBT 1 yellow tang 3 cleaner shrimps Mainly Lps corals. Am I getting things right? Thanks for the kind advices.

Ok guys. I surrender to ich. Added fish after fish and they just continue to get white spots and die 1 by 1. I have a 2 feet cube with sump and skimmer. I'm left with 1 scopas tang, 3 chromis, 1 blue tag, and 2 clowns. Rose tip and carpet anemone looks jaded. Multiple corals look ok. elegance, zoas, leather, torch, hammer, brain, button and cleaner shrimps seems unaffected. Nh4, no2 is ok. No3 at around 25ppm. Po4 very light blue according to salifert test kit. Salinity at 1.023. Temp at 27 degrees. What else should I test? I do wc with rodi 10% every 2 weeks. Sand bed in both dt and refugium with dsb looks dirty. Should I use vacuum to cleanit? Soaking seaweed in garlic didn't help with the white spots. I've been researching and hope to go fish less for 8 weeks to eradicate ich. Does that help? Should I add copper as treatment in the DT? With corals still there? What should I do?
