Reactors + skimmer will be much more efficient than algae scrubber.

Tank was badly infested with bryopsis. Raised my mg from 1340 to 1760ppm with continuum magnesium liquid. Have used 4litres of it to get 1760ppm ! Total treatment cost 104$. Very worth it! 20 days later Free of bryopsis. No more nuisance algae. Some updates on my sps Oblivion. Theres more yellow tips but cant capture. The reds can be better. Salmon pink digi. Have always left it on sandbed Ssc Exactly 2months later Caroliniana before Exactly 3weeks later my new addition since 20days ago Bought this browned out so called pink lemonade. Yellow tips have started to appear. May need few weeks more. Have also swapped my zeolites and zeostart3 to aio pellet. Have also modded my fr-45 to be a recirculating reactor. Too expensive to afford 1 , which cost 450usd including shipping from reefdynamic/aqualund in the US.

Ime , 1 cartridge of di 700ml will only make 350litres of 0tds water. After that tds will rise. Price of di resin not cheap also at 9$/litre di resins. Rodi still much more cost savings imo. Di resins in ro unit can last 8-10months Time if weekly make 50litres. Waste water can flush toilet , mop floor , water plants , wash clothing (topload) etc.

Cyano imo to treat it , can dose bac like zeobak / biodigest. Hair algae most probably due to phosphate. if you are using salifert to test, it isnt accurate at all. Unless you are using more accurate way to measure like hanna phosphorus checker. Atleast cyano/hair algae isnt worse than bubbble algae + bryopsis hahahah
