Thank you Roidan, Weileong, Killfire and Ian for answering my desperate calls so early on Saturday morning! For the benefit of the rest of the bros, my return pipe got stuck in the middle of the night and I woke up with the tubby running dry and the floor with puddles of water on Saturday morning! Being a not technical guys, my immediate respond is to try to call the experts. And all of them were very kind to help even when it is so early in the morning. Dear Bros, After two weeks of hypo-salinity for all my fishes in a hospital tank and no fishes in my main tank. My main tank start to look like a jungle! So good an environment that my star snails started to spawn...... No choice lah, risk it and add back the rest of the fishes to help up keep the tank and also clear whatever eggs & sperm released by the snails. As I do not run chiller, I presume the life cycle of the #$@*& ich will be accelerated and thus dun have to wait the minimum 3 weeks. Its been 5 days now and all is well. Not sign of ich. This afternoon went over to Henry's to reserve a pair of angels that one friend always wanted. And guess what I discovered............. AT!!!!!!! Reserved the best looking one liao. But a little hiccup. When Henry remove the AT into the reserved tank, the @#&*%$ black tang attacked it until the fins are all tethered (all within 3 mins!) Told Henry to remove to another tank, kena from the orange shoulder tang. Damn sway man! Henry got no more tank to place my AT so no choice but to use Mirror to distract OST. Keeping fingers & toes crossed until Sunday. Bros, "I will be Back"!!!!!!!

Read in an old issue of FAMA that this kind of sting are very serious. That guy (who is a nurse) thought that he it will heal, it did not even after he tried to self medicate. Luckily, one of the doctor (who does lots of research on marine toxic) in the hospital he is working for spotted it diagnose it correctly and finally the correct cure was found. Better see a doctor and tell him about it and if it doesn't heal, go to a specialist.

Correction: Last night went back to double check A. Calfo's book, it is written that tidal corals species such as Xenia, Zoanthids and some SPS are suitable for dry shipping not Euphylia species. Sorry for the mistakes.

I smell another "Louhan Craze" coming......... Anyway, I have tried converting mollies into Marine Environment with one day. But gave the mollies away (after 1 months) after seeing it with the rest of the marine fishes in the tank, it gives me a very unnatural feel. I re-convert them into fresh water in another day and my auntie is still having them. From what I know any fish that is from murky water can be converted, just that it is unnatural. Cuz in the nature they will not be able to compete with they salt water cousins when they are in the open sea.

According to A. Calfo, some corals are better ship wet rather than in water. especially euphylia species which are known to emit tons of brown jelly when stressed and finally dying due to bacteria infections.

I tried having a pair as advised by some literature. In the end still cannot make it. To me, they are even ahrder to survive than the normal doctor fish aka cleaner wrasse! Will definitely aviod them!

I feel that my Zoanthids are the ones that show significant difference. I have two rock of Zoanthids for 1yr liao and after I dose they started to show vibrant colours. So for me, I will continue to dose but will noy loose a sweat over it. ;-)

Never tried Cupri-sorb. I know Poly-Filter claims to be able to effectively remove copper. But since copper is so deadly, I don't dare bet on it.

You can use copper provided you do not intend to add any invertebrates. Cuz copper traces can remain in LRs and sand for a very long period and thus most reefers will not use copper treated tanks to house invertebrates. For me, I will never use copper, I will be using Hypo-Salinity for my Ich problem coming Saturday.

Most LFS will carry them. Got Ang Mo brand, got China brand, of course China brand cheaper but they say hatch rate very low.

Lighting plays an important part as well. If you have just 6500k or 10000k light you will not be able to see the flourescent colours that some LS emit. Thus most reefers will supplement with actinics to bring out the colours.

Aiyah see the numbers of empty bottles lying around ML and you will know it is a product that Henry believes and uses for his display. I used it too, not much effects on stony. But Zoanthids seems to like it, color up and open bigger!
