If I remember correctly, Cookiemunster ever mentioned that copper coil can be used provided they coat the surface with Titanium. Thus, I believe some of the cheaper version coils are not full Titanium but Titanium coated.

Hi Chye Huat, thanks for the book! 7.5hrs or 8 also will do, it all depends of individual tank conditions. Previously most reefers light up their tank 12-14 hrs using FL light and tried the same with MH and realized that the additional hours did not benefit much but rather encourages algi growth. Thus some of them decides to shorten the MH photoperiod. For me, my T5s actinic 03 will go for 13hrs while my MH 6 hours. I used to have MH for 9hrs but realized increased of diatoms and other algi. Thus I heed DE's advise by lowering it a bit.

For me, I would rather loose the Dottybacks rather than the shrimps. If you like a Dottyback looking fish that is friendlier towards shrimps, you can try P. fridmani, P. flavivertex or even the Gramma sp.

Worse than Anthias man! Cuz to feed anthias even if you dun have timers, all you need to do is sprinkle the food into the tank. For the baby birds, you need: 1) Perpare formula (Same as preparing for humans) 2) Ensure temperature is right 3) Slowly feed the baby bird with a syringe 4) Soothe the formula slowly down its gut 5) Clean them up to prevent infection The good thing is that it is only for the first couple of weeks, after that have to wean them to solid food. After you hand feed them, they will treat you as their companion and thus more friendly and obedient towards you. But for me, after I have hand feed and hand trained it, it was banished from my home cuz my mum believes rearing birds will brings bad luck.

Thank bro! Its better late than never.... I have not experience waking up at night yet! Cuz now still under confinement period thus the confinement lady will take care.
