  2. In the 70s we can just leave tap water overnight; chlorine will dissipate and water is safe for fishes. However, modern water treatment processes add not just chlorine but chloramines which is more stable and will not dissipate easily. Thus, the best way is to use water conditioners below to treat your tap water before using it. Tetra Aquasafe SeaChem Prime Kordon AmQuel Plus API Ammo-Lock Do note that water conditioners do not only removes Chlorine or Chloramines but some also will bind heavy metals that are usually found in tap water especially Singapore which predominantly uses copper pipings. 3. Hi bro, Boiling water or boiled water is not distilled water. Distillation involves evaporation of water free from impurities and condenses in a separated container. The impurities will remain in the vat used to boil the water. When we boil the water, all impurities remains in the water. Distilled Water De-ionised water is using Ion exchange media to trap impurities in order to get clean water. Some will even add Reverse Osmosis process into the DI stage to have better results. RO membrane to remove particulates where by DI to further removes dissolves impurities. DI Water Each of the above have its own pros and cons, you may want to weigh them before committing. However, if you are not intending to keep demanding corals such as SPS, my personal choice will be de-chlorinated tap water.
  4. JK, conrats!! Will it be available to us to take a closer look on this day?

It was great to meet Binosage, Stevenkoh and Qiang for the very first time and to catch up with Cedric, Desi & Ketchup, Dr Evil, Seet, Aquarium Artist, RedDevil, Lemon, Weisheng, Belle, FuEl etc. Overall the event is . Thanks again Larry.

  9. I find some of the girls are alright lah (except for a few that really look like zombies), but I find the entire campaign sucks big time. The creative, the venue, the make-up, the wardrobe, the photographer.
  10. Hi bro, I am a typical Singaporean (Kiasu + Kiasi) thus will go for the latter, which means to have to media fluidizing below the max indicated mark.
  11. Jacky, she can "express" it to you in a jumbo box. Lol
  12. Desi, If the delays is due to freight, I am sure you will be able to get it resolved in a jiffy. Anyway hope you will get your orders soon!
  13. Thanks for sharing. Very nice, not easy to get them thriving.
  14. Hi bro, I try my best to answer from my limited understanding of your situation. 1) Fluidizing CR will produce noise time to time both inside the chamber and by the pump 2) Noise produce by the pump should be from air bubbles 3) Noise produce within the chamber should be from the media fluidizing 4) If media were to find its way to the pump, it will create a louder grinding noise that may cause impellor to break, stuck or produce additional heat due to friction between media, impellor and pump chamber 5) In order to prevent pt4 from happening, also ensure that your media are correct size and at correct level 6) Media level too high will cause media to be suck into pump 7) Most fluidizing CR recommends ROWA C+ due to its bead shape that will not create as much damage HTH
