Hi Sunnymau, I believe your initial question is what is the HOT skimmer that is most value for money. And my recomendation is Aqua C Remora pro. However, I read that you already have a Prizm, my conviction is that since you already have it might as well use it and at the same time save up for a better one. Prizm is a decent skimmer, I have research about it previouly before and I also have a friend in US that uses it herewith is his comment: "Air tends to get trapped in the intake tube behind the flow adjustment dial. Don't get me wrong, the Prizm isn't a horrible skimmer for the price". Also Prizm is a product of a very reputable company (Red Sea) Besides, all of the above are just our opinions & experiences.

Hi Sunnymau, If you have already bought the Prizm don't worry too much, it is still a decent skimmer (Trust me). Think about the days of our forefathers and you will know, in fact, my uncle is still using air driven Skimmer. Marine equipment is like all other daily stuff - there is always a better one out there. If I were you, I will still use my prizm but save up for a better one next time. Cheers,

Hi Sunnymau, you can get a pix of AquaC remora pro from www.eaquanature.com, the owner of the site is Edmund, he is the official distributor on Aqua C. Looks like you are someone who apprciate quality. Cheers,

Hi Bro, IMO the best HOT Skimmer money can buy is the Aqua C Remora Pro - Search the web and you will see the comments given! In Singapore you can get it from Edmund (EAN). I am currently using Seaclone but saving for the Aqua C Remora Pro (So Edmund if you see this, please remember to give me discount OK ) Beside the Aqua C, there is the Aqua Media Flotor & finally the most value for money one - Weipro. Hope this help. Cheers,

Hi Rumor, Glad to know that you like gobies, I am also a fan of gobies and Seahorses. Currently, I have Yellow Prawn, High Fin Red Banded & Blue streak plus three firefish. I am looking out for a purple firefish plus any interesting gobies such as Rainfordi or Hectori or Yashia, so if you happen to see any of these, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Yah confirmed it is Zoanthus. Can't see clearly what are the white stuffs, could it be it is bleaching? Anyway, for Zoanthus, they have to slowly acclimatize to your tank (water Temp, & lightings) so try not to move it around often or it will cause them to bleach. Once they are acclimatize, they are pretty hardy. What woonming said is very true, I know of a reefer in US ended up in the hospital when he absent mindedly rub his eyes after cutting up some zoanthus. -
I went to one LFS and they told me a cleaner wrasse is a doctor fish, so if your so called doctor fish look like a cleaner wrasse below are my two cents. Read in some books that they feed on parasites riding on fishes such as angel & moray eels plus some zooz & phytos. However, I must admit, I have not successfully kept them. Maybe because, the fishes I have in my tanks are gobies, firefish seahorses that does not appreciate their services. Hope this help.

Hi arcanehacker, Since we are this topic, may I know where I can get Aragonite sand and how much it cost? If I am currently adding Aragonite Milk to my tank every night do you think it will be sufficient? By the way, I don't dose Kalwasser or any other calcium supplements. My is a 33 gal tank and have 1 x torch, 1 x open brain & 1 x maze brain beside rather livestocks.
