Yup. As per all pseudochomis smaller shrimps beware! That's why I chose the smallest one they have. So far my 1x CS, 2x PS & 1x FS still around due to their size.

Wa, you managed to have algae blenny and bi-color in the same tank?! So lucky. The last I done that, my tank became a war zone. At the end have to remove the AB to restore peace. Some says sailfins are good too. But I will stick to Bob Fenner's advise of Yellow & Purple Tang.

For the tang, try those from the zebrasoma family which is the purple tang or the yellow tang. They are hardier and also will not grow too big for your 2.5ft.

No one knows for sure. I rememeber it being a topic in FAMA magazine but can't remember the details as to how long fishes needs to be expose to cause dill failure. But whatever it is, prevention is better than cure. Cheers,

Crab, like all deritus feeders will eat anything that they can reach. When you see them eating, they are eating the by-product of Cynos not the bacteria itself.

Diatoms / Byopsis. If you are currently cycling your tank than it will go away after your cycle.

Cyno are bacteria and not algae thus the crab you are looking for does not exist. Cyno are best prevented by: 1. increasing water flow 2. reduce feeding 3. improve skimming Last resort is to nuke it with "Red Slime Remover" but bear in mind that it is a anti-bacteria and thus use with caution.

Well, Chlorine and Chloramine are added into water to kill germs thus making it palatable to us humans. However, Chlorine & Chloramine has some caustic effects of the gills of fishes which render them useless / degrade after a period of time. Which means that the fishes that are exposed to Chlorine or Chloramine will not be able to breath and thus suffocate. And because the effects are not immediate, our poor fishes will "slowly" suffocate to death! The only way to prevent this is to nutralize or remove Chlorine & Chloramine. There severals ways: 1. Use Chlorine & Chloramine Remover (Cheapest) 2. Use RO / DI water (Ex) 3. Use Specialized Tap Water Filters (Not so Ex as RO / DI) Hope this help.
