According to manufacturer "Each unit is vacuum sealed which preserves the technology for over 10 years and has no parts to be replaced." 3. Actually the E55 is just above the blue tub on the first pix. But from your signature your tank plus sump obviously exceed 55Gal. Are you helping someone elss to buy?

Here is a pix of my AT with ICH. It is the only fish with Ich in my tank. The rest including a hippo tang does not even have one spot on its body. Dunno what this is telling me. Any AT experts to advise?

After sucess in my 2ft mixed reef, I decided to up my ante to a 3 footer. Below is the tank after I have fully tranfered all LS from my 2ft. Noticed the colours are not that vibrant due to the fact that I have not added my T5 actinics, currently powered only by 250w 6.5kk BLV MH. Shot taken with flash on - forgot to off it. Have not installed colored backing, thinking of using black coloured paper. Any suggestions? Will show the rest of my fitting in installment.

This is provided it is ich. Ich usually will hitched on your fishes body thus you will noticed white spots on your fishes body. From your descriptions, I believe they are just debris or pods. If it is debbris or deritus, it will settle after a while. And if it is pods, they are great food for fishes and intertebrates.

12/09/04, 8am - 12am. All LS without Ich except for AT. I am beginning to wonder whether it is just the fish or the medication just isn't good enough. By the way, I have double the dosage of Kick-Ich from 2oz for 3oz per 10Gal. Will observed and report back.

Hi all, Finally got my DC back, below is a shot of the tank before clean-up.

ECCO Aqualizer E55 Price revised to $60.

Aqualizer still available. Buyer suddenly realized that E55 is underated for 5ft. tank.

Actually there is not such thing as no need to change water. What a Aqualizer does is stick the molecules together so that it can be remove by your regular filter. The theory is something like ionizer. You can read about it is the link posted in my earlier message. I tested previously with my two five-plan tank with same livestock. After 2weeks, the water of the tank without Aqualizer is more yellowish. I also remove the filter pad of both 2213 and realized that the one with the Aqualizer is dirtier. That convince me that this is a good pre-filter. That's why for my new 3ft I have gotten the bigger model.

10/09/04 8am. Ich still on AT, rest of fish not affected. Waiting to dose as per instruction tonight. By the way, I am using UV too, the UV is all the while on a 10hrs shift but ich still appears. I chose not to increase the UV timing as I wanted to see whether the Kick-Ich is working.

I also feel that Coral Beauties are hardy and wonderful fish. I notice most American books will put down this fish as problematic. Maybe because they want more ppl to buy their hawaiian angels such as flame. In fact, if you see the pix in some of the books, their CB pictures are so dull while they flame is so brillant, talk about biased. Personally, I feel that both are just as hardy and will take any food if introduce patiently.

How long (cm) is your worm. If it is less than 10cm, I wouldn't lose my sleep over it as they are excellence scavengger. But if it is big, then I will remove the rock into a sump and throw in a six lined wrasse!

Clams & Intvertebrates: No signs of stress, reseading tissue or shrinkage. 08/09/04 9pm: Ich returns, but not as much as before. No action taken as I intend to dose on the 3rd day as per instructed for heavy infection. Will update more observation tonight.
