Tap water also contained nirate, nitrite and phophate and some other minerals that might not good for your tank. Ro water or distilled water still the best. Install a RO unit or can purchase distilled water from market. My 2 cents.

For me bio pellet first before rowa and then skimmer. As bio pellet need some food from water to maintain the health of those bacteria.. if all skimmer liao then bio.. less food for them. And are you connecting all with single pump or multiple pump? Just my personal input

Agreed on that. What I did was shake it a few time and it will drop. The dip gie them a shock and a good shake helps a lot.

Can use coral dip to ensure all pest out from your zoas. Usually I do that and can see som pest out from it.

Agreed coral start up with soft coral and LPS.
