  3. hey Bombom Bro, TQ for your reply and good picture! yes mine is an small angelfish. Do i need to chop into smaller pcs? i am not sure if they can bite it off from the clam fresh. how long can i leave it in the tank, if the fish show no interest?
  4. Hi all, I have problem getting a new fish to get feeding even with frozen mysis. It has been 2 weeks, the fish has not been eating, but still not skinny yet. I am quite worry. I am thinking of trying fresh clam from wet market. Anyone has experience with fresh clam? any type of clam i can use? such as "la la " clam? is there other things i should know such as washing the fresh clam? chopping into smaller pcs for smaller fish? will adding fresh clam cause ammonia to spike? need help here. Tks in adv!
  5. Sorry didn't mean that, But What i saw is their skin and fin were not clear n skinny although most started to feed on pellets. And when u say good condition ? I was puzzled, Sorry for not been tactful when posting. My apologies if anyone got offended from this , not my intention.
  6. your "eat" means anchor onto the rock or eating the surface of the rock ?
  7. U guys rock! i double check with seachem and they replied the same. Use right amount of prime for tap water treatment for 48hrs or longer. Then in this case, pretreat saltwater with conditioner will not cause any effect with copper. Almost buy a DI unit just for copper treatment.
  8. do you have a cabinet for your tank? if you have, then sump length should be shorter and narrower then display tank. If you don't have a cabinet, then size is not a problem. I will go for almost the same volume of your display tank. Lesser volume of water also means harder to control water parameter. Size also depend on what equipments you want to house. Careful selection of skimmer, return pump and type of media and other add on like the biopellet etc. calculation such as size of the equipment that need to fit into the sump tank. what are you housing in your display tank? then work out what you want to achieve. Decide on the type of equipments and then your ideal size of the sump will finalize.

  10. Water conditioner cannot? then how to remove chlorine from tap water before the salt mix. As we still need to do water change during copper treatment.
  11. Hi All, Can we dose bacteria and any form of Vitamin such as C during copper treatment? What are the chemicals we cannot dose during copper treatment? Pls advise. TQ

  14. T95 has regular shipment from Philippines or Bali and other common shipment every weekdays, most likely Tuesday or Wednesday. i heard T95 uncle is the pioneer in marine import and export during the 80-90s and now business is taken over by his son. Business is slow as people hardly go there to shop, therefore some of the fishes been contracted out to other LFS such as Ah Beng. Uncle still help around, he is funny but very friendly if u know him in person, try make friend with him, i bet u will find his price of much competitive as you are getting first hand pricing.
  15. blue line angel from Pinnacle? nowadays lots of surprise, hope their pricing are attractive. What are the sizes?
  16. Got a French angel from one of the LFS recently and QT him in a pail with air pump and WC 100% fresh water every day for almost 2 week now. On the 3rd day he develop lymphocytic, he eat well on and off , when he is happy he can eat more than 10 big pellets on one feeding. When he is stress, he will not take anything for the whole day. The cotton wool on its tail grow smaller and his body all clear but this time new and more developed on his top fin and one of his gill fin. Had done an anti-bacterial bath on the 7th day to reduce secondary infection. Now do you think I should cage him in the display tank or let it go into the display tank? Or should I just QT him till he recover? I know it could take weeks to months. Condition of the fish: still fat and eating ok, no scratching, still swim around the pail and no sign of itch or velvet but I also worry the pail is too small for long term QT that causes more stress to the fish. Any experience reefer/ fish expert to share?
  17. haha i think he meant half moon from Philippines not half moon from red sea.
