try the rio seio 1100... i was using 2 X 820 for my previous tank, exactly the same size as yours...2 X 820 served me well...would have gone for 1100 if it came out earlier...

there's lotsa debates concerning beckett skimmers...but rule of thumb for all skimmers 1) the taller the chamber the better 2) the bigger the chamber the better so its up to your requirement and space to house the skimmer....

i used to buy seawater from t95 too..but the salinity level is way LOW...1.018 somewhere around this range... i tested for NO3 and PO3 both at zero...too lazy to test the rest... i find that my corals enjoy better, bloom bigger and more colour...less death...LPS only... for SPS tanks, i think it is a MUST for supplements even if u are using salt mix...

hhhmmm...i think most reefers should have sumps tat are big enough for at least a 20% water change without affecting the main tank's height... as minsmarine mentioned, anything below the overflow teeth should be safe..maybe try to do quickie loh..switch off the MH and other lights before changing water..if u notice, i think someone posted b4 that he left his sps unattented for more than 1/2hr because he was applying epoxy and forgot to put it back..but the sps still ok...
