i think for LFS, the seawater tat they use for their tanks and the ones that they are selling are different.... the ones tat they are selling are retrieved from the ocean and stored, not too sure if they are using the same for their tanks....u might wanna ask the owner b4 purchasing...and not forgetting the seawater that they use for their tank has very low salinity, check b4 using it....

with its head gone it means that something ate it....might be a crab or even mantis shrimp....u might wanna use the brand's chicken essence bottle method??

i think it will be better to cycle your LRs 1st before adding any fish....hardy fishes such as damsels can be used to test out or learn more things but not really advisable to use them for cycling...another thing is if one day u don't like them anymore, it'll be very difficult to catch them out....dun buy them because they are cheap, it will cost u more problems next time....

if your LR are not dried when u reaarrange then it should be alrite....but try not to do it too often as it will stress your fishes....

1) ph LOW, ca LOW, dkh OK use PH buffer + calcium additives 2) ph LOW, ca LOW, dkh HIGH use PH buffer + calcium additives 3) ph LOW, ca OK, dkh OK use PH buffer 4) ph LOW, ca OK, dkh HIGH use PH buffer + a little calcium additive when it reduces ca and dkh depletes together, so if both are alrite, or both are low, use only kalk solution to maintain them or boost them respectively. kalk solution will help to maintain your PH so if all three are low use kalk solution to boost them.... note: do not alter them drastically, do it slowly over a few days....

i've checked with a few manufacturers but they dun provide them individually....it comes with the skimmer as a set....that's how they make money...
