  13. i totally agree with hermit.... it needs a lot of skill, that's y Ian can earn a living out of it while all of us are still trying to figure out....hahahhaha
  14. THC: selfish because u never show the pic of it when it is running mah....just joking lah, no hard feelings k?? no offenses meant....just a joke....
  15. my way of doing it is to have a vacuum cleaner at the same time.... switch on the vacuum cleaner and point the nozzle directly beside the hole that u will be drilling, will suck up lots of dust before they fall on the floor...so far i've been lucky, never hit any electrical wire b4.... as for the wall plug, use the full metal kind that comes with a hook. IMO, it is much stronger than the plastic kind of wall plugs...it can hold immense weight but the hole need to be much bigger as well...
  16. not forgetting when u tee-off, u will lose a lot of head strength....
  17. bro, dun waste time lah.... the last time i waited until my sand started to stink then threw it away...nobody will buy one..... ANY TAKER???!!!
  18. i feel that acrifix will be good if u are thinking of glueing acrylic with pvc but as for acrylic to acrylic, chloroform is still the best....but the correct preesure applied when joining and the room temperature as very important elements.... dun ask me specifically wat room temperature or preesure, i also dunno.... i did ask an expert in acrylic b4, he said he used purely chloroform but did not tell me how to use it properly...if done accurately, the join will not split, the whole acrylic will break instead.... i am also trying to DIY a skimmer, also in the same dilemma as creetin.....maybe we can discuss through PMs???
  19. u might wanna reinforce this part too...use a small piece.... the other four legs do the same thing as u did to the centre part....
  20. bro, i think u should reinforce the four sides just like how u reinforce the centre part... not forgetting the centre part u must also reinforce the small part to the floor...
  21. cool....wonder which one works better??
  22. here's the comparison...hard to judge, have to see it personally....i did a little camera trick....hahahaha
