to be frank, some of the fishes there are in good condition....some only, those that are new....hahhahhaa i did try to persuade reefers refrain from buying fishes from there, but their looks tell me that they think i am a salesman...so i decided to let them learn it the hard way...once, i told a newbie about this wonderful forum...he waved his hand and shoo me off, i was damn pissed!!! new trick that i learned today... 1) put the anemone in a hole in the LR, size of hole should be just nice to fit the anemone 2) direct moderate water current at the anemone, more or less like forcing water into its face it should stay there, reason being that it won't want to be blown away by the current and thus it will stay there...

i thnk instead of leaving the medium on the bottom of the box, should try to suspend them with an extra plastic... let the water flow thru from below and go thru every single strain of medium... if the medium is left at the bottom, only the top layer will be active, but the bottom layer of medium will be left lying there and will be redundant... blue arrow - water flow red patches - medium

hi all, i saw that this week's shipments have a lot of tanks...the LFS owners told me they are powder black tangs... very tempted to get 1 as it looks so much like achilles tang but has a much cheaper price tag... anyone has experience with this fish?? anything i need to look out for? my tank is a 3ft X1.5 X 2(height) tank...with only a bi colour blenny and a small sailfin tang.... it looks like this whitecheek just that the whole body is black...

i think the md55 is too powerful because the reaction chamber is too short, unlike the bigger units like alvyfoamer 648 and huge dual beckett(also joe's work) that boss has... it is something like, u definitely can't run md55 on a weipro 2011....

can actually distinguish the diff between wet and dry foaming...the dry foaming is much darker and definitely accumulate more DOC before pushing the skimmate out into the collection cup...

i go and dig my storeroom...i dunno brand, i dunno anything...can help me clear my storeroom as well....
