AquaC is still one of the better commercial skimmers that do not need pressure rated pump...i doubt that i can do a better job than them but will try to do my best...

i think i should have...if u want contact me loh...can pass it to u... in my opinion, dun add any additives...don't try to fix it until it is spoilt....learnt it from a reefer and also learnt it the hard way... too much of these chemicals are not good...and we then to overdose... wat i dose now is only kalk..and of cos i also use phosguard, heard it is not good, but it is good for my pocket...another essential item would be carbon...other than that, dun waste money...frequent water change will solve any chemical imbalance...

my tank is the same dimension...i used about 5 pails full of LRs...i think should be around 70-80kg...but some small pieces are in my sump now, about 10-15kg of them...i dun use eggcrates...all LRs only...

the unstable bubbles are caused by certain factors, if the spray injector is raised up, it will produce better and more stable foaming...that's wat i discovered...just like a beckett, the beckett has to be higher than the water level in the reaction chamber...if the beckett is lower, it will be unstable as well...

hhhhmmmm....too tight? so far did a few...if too small, the bubbles will be finer but tend to choke easily... mine is too tight ah??? this one is a virgin, not tested yet...but i dun think the pumping action will be so strong that it will expand.... eeeerrrrrmmmmm.... i mean the pump will not be so strong....hahahahhaa
