IMO, try to use less of those chemicals...the more u dose, the more things u have inside...might be harmful after prolong usage.. i go with fuel and lightning strike...good skimmer and lower bioload

if u have a big budget and a big space, i suggetst go straight for becketts...it seems like everyone "believes" that it is the mother of all skimmers.. i've seen sps tanks with H&S(a lot), AquaC remora (TOTM winner) and even weipro 2013...so it a matter of wat's your budget... even pple with beckett skimmer can also have mishaps..doesn't mean that if u have 10 H&S skimming your tank, your tank will be the best... in my opinion, its how u like to maintain your tank...i've been running my tank (LPS) without skimmer for about 8mths already...no chiller as well...but i dun have any problem with algae, nitrate nor phos..but i still think tat skimmer is important...

basically, pre-filtered seawater has the most complete elements than saltmix...but of cos it might contain a lot of other unwanted stuffs too...
