has been long since i last posted any pics of my tank...no choice, camera is too lousy..now i've got a 4 megapixel Minolta Dimage F100 (free from my bro-in-law!!)...much better... lets do a brief update... here are the fishes tat i have: 1 X yellow tang (1mth, cured from ich) 1 X red sea sailfin (3weeks, terrible ich) 1 X powder blue (1day, developing ich) 1 X flame hawk (3weeks) 1 X orange band single spot goby (2weeks) 1 X high fin goby (2mths) 1 X bi colour blenny (6mths,now under tremendous stress after it accidentally jumped out of my tank) 1 X sailfin blenny (2mths,fattest in my tank) 1 X red clown goby (2mths) 1 X purple goby (2mths) 1 X two spot goby (1mth) 1 X spotted madarin (1mth) here is a full tank pic taken yesterday...

kena ich already.. now just feed feed and feed...all food to be soaked in garlic extreme or garlic guard...

another issue on airconditioned room is the evaporation...

i have a 14kk hamilton SE 250W bulb...if u wanna exchange call me at 90024001...robin here...i stay in woodlands.. i got this bulb from deepblue, and it was the 1st batch of hamilton bulb from eaquanature...which means it is about 3mths old..

currently i am running RobSKim Mini 120/500 in my own tank... initially when i feed home-made Henry's fish food, i get relatively darker skimmate..but now, i only feed pellets and flakes 2-3 times daily (which still means that i feed quite a lot), but skimmate is getting lesser...the last pic that i post, is skimmate that i get in about 4days...considering that i feed so much, and i have 2 poo poo machines (tangs) in my tank, i should get something better right?? other things tat i do are as follows: i change my water with seawater from t95, 20% every week, sometimes more times a week depending on laziness... i also feed DT once every 3 days... is there by any chance that my filtration system is so good tat i cannot get good skimmate?? or issit the frequent water change that is helping my system?? pls kindly advise...thanks...

hi all...i have no idea y i can never get enough thick black muddy skimmate from my tank... i dun have any nitrate problem as well...last tested, NO3 at 0-5ppm using nutrafin testkit.. here's a few pics of skimmer tat i did and used in my tank and also tested in other tanks... RobSKim V1

dunno y i can never get this kind of skimmate from my tank...from RobSKim V1 to RobSKim Master to RobSKim Mini 120/500, all cannot get thick thick mud.but can get thick mud in other tanks..maybe i should try the RoBEck Mega on my tank and see how... i also have no nitrate problem leh...hai...maybe should post another thread and ask around...

having a single big air intake has its pro and cons... its quieter, less troublesome... but, its also more difficult to fine tune....since my friends ask for 2 small air intakes, so i do it loh... to me not much difference...i prefered the big one too...

have never seen black ones b4...dun think they exist...if there is, pls tell me too...much nicer...

hey hermit, good work man... glad that u are satisfied with the skimmer...after so much trial and error, finally completed your own spray injector skimmer... when is your needlewheel coming??

pvc welding + acrylic welding?? fwah... dun use the japan gate valve...it sucks...not smooth at all and water level will fluctuate...

if in anyway possible, u still gotta wait till end of oct for the next session...my exams are coming..
